Crystal Auto Rental Limited is the largest car rental company in Belize. Crystal was founded in 1989 by Jay Crofton, a native of Conroe, Texas, as the tourism industry in Belize took off. Crystal has been the largest rental company in Belize for the past 7 years and operates a fleet that is twice the size of any of their competitors. They strive to give their customers outstanding quality and excellent service.

Crystal Auto Rental has two offices located in Belize. The main office is located in Belize City and there is also an office at the International Airport.

Crystal Auto Rental is one of the few rental companies in Belize that will allow you to take your rental vehicle into Guatamala to go to the Mayan ruins at Tikal. (We do not recommend the drive to Tikal to inexperienced travelers.)

Crystal Auto Rental offers:
  • Office at International Airport as well as Belize City.
  • Free shuttle service to and from their Belize City office to anywhere in Belize City.
  • There is no charge for additional drivers.
  • Unlimited mileage.
  • Crystal offers the free use of a car seat for children.
  • They will even give you the free use of an ice chest for you to use on your journey.
  • Free maps of country and cities in Belize.
  • Short and long term lease available.
  • Free pick up/drop off within Belize city only 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
  • Cross Border Traffic Tikal, Flores Peten only, minimum 2 days rental

Requirements
  • Customer must be at least 25 years of age and have a valid drivers license.
  • 21 - 24 years of age requires a double deposit.
  • Deposit Credit Card only. Same as deductible

 9% Government Tax not included
All vehicles have  AM/FM stero with cassete player
