The Monteverde Canopy Tour

The Monteverde Canopy Tour is a tour, which can be enjoyed by people of all ages. It is a tour that consists of suspension cables on which the person will travel from platform to platform while enjoying the beauty of the cloud forest canopy. These cables are specially designed by expert engineers, who have made it one of the safest and most thrilling adventures available for tourists in Costa Rica.
We equip our clients with high-tech harnesses to ensure their safety. Also each of our clients is attached to a safety sling at all times to prevent any casualties. All of our guides are professionals in the area of Canopying and most of them have had years of previous experience.
Our Canopy consists of 14 platforms, which in total make a one mile ride. While on the platforms of during the rides the tourist may watch or search for different types of animals including some mammals and various species of birds and insects. We are located on a private reserve 7 kilometers from the center of the town of Monteverde. Our fully equipped van collects our clients from any hotel in the area and at the end of the tour drops them back at their respective hotels. The tour takes about 2 - 2 1/2 hours from pickup to drop-off.
