El Dorado Sportfishing and Lodge

The pacific coast of Costa Rica offers some of the best fishing in the world. Our fishing grounds is home for the most sought after offshore game fish such as; Marlin, Sailfish, Dorado, Tuna, etc… The inshore fishing is first class as well with Rooster fish, Red Snapper, Snook, and much more.

Aboard our 25 ft 2001 Carolina Classic you'll find nothing but the best. The boat has a single 260 horsepower diesel engine for fast and reliable fishing. We have the latest in electronics including fish finders, GPS, and two ship to shore radios. There is plenty of shade and a head in the V-birth. Our boat is US Coast Guard Safe.

All bait and tackle is provide for you. For Offshore fishing only Penn International reels and custom rods are used. Inshore we use Penn Graphite lever drag set ups with ultra light tackle available.

Our boat is docked in the Los Suenos Marriott Marina in the Herradura Bay

Our beach front hotel La Iguana Perezosa is located in Playa Hermosa. We are just a short drive from the Los Suenos Marriott Marina and the Town of Jaco. It is centrally located between two national parks. The hotel has six rooms all just a few steps from the beach, bar and pool. Each room has a double and a single bed. They have ceiling fans, air conditioning, and hot/cold water. You will find everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The bar restaurant is rancho style where ocean breezes will keep you cool while you eat.
