The Nomad is a 55-foot Hatteras tournament rigged luxury convertible. Sleek exterior styling features a rakish sheer line and flared bow designed specifically to deliver a smooth ride and excellent handling while operating at a high speed to get you on fish fast!

The 55' Hatteras is designed for serious sportfishing. The cockpit boasts 149 square feet of open space where every element and dimension has a purpose. Fishing amenities include a bait and tackle center with sink, cutting board and tackle drawers, a bait freezer, storage console with drawers, four rod holders, a removable, full sized 80-inch in-deck fish box with macerator, and an amply proportioned transom door.

Exterior - Access to the spacious, 150-square-foot fly-bridge is gained from a ladder on the starboard side of the cockpit. Guest seating is provided to port on the molded fiberglass lounge with removable cushions (and storage below) and to starboard on the L-shaped bench seat. The fly-bridge offers a rich mix of fresh air, a breathtaking view and quiet surroundings to enjoy with family and friends.

Interior - The 55's luxurious interior offers elegant comfort and relaxation. With a generous 17' 6" beam, interior accommodations include two staterooms and two heads. The spacious salon/galley provides 195 square feet of living space with genuine wood interiors, custom L-shaped sofa and entertainment center. Air conditioning is routed through slotted wood cornices extending the length of the salon and galley - both port and starboard. One-inch wood blinds and lush carpet complement this rich wood interior.


Attention to detail is evident everywhere. The fully equipped galley offers natural wooden cabinets, four-burner cook-top, garbage disposal, refrigerator and refrigerated drawer units. The microwave/convection oven is cleverly concealed by the cabinet door – continuing the expanse of rich wood from salon to galley without interruption. This handsome galley is also practical – the Amitco vinyl strip flooring resembles teak.

The Nomad is equipped with all Shimano tackle from 12 lbs. to 130 lbs., including fly tackle.
