Manuel Antonio Beach - The main protected region of rainforest on the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica is in Manuel Antonio National Park. Despite its relatively small size and virtual isolation from other forests, this area of mixed primary and secondary forest is home to a wide variety of both rainforest and littoral wildlife.
