Lakes ‘Las Morenas’ - As seen early one morning from the summit of Mount Chirripó, the highest point in Costa Rica. At 3820 meters above sea level it is one of the highest peaks in Central America, shadowed only by a handful of volcanoes in Guatemala. With clear conditions such as on the day this photograph was taken, one can see both the Caribbean and Pacific coastlines.
