Palms at Sunset
Palms at Sunset - Sunsets are the result of the sun’s rays being filtered; at dusk sunlight enters the atmosphere at a lower angle than during the day and so passes through more air before being seen by an observer. These air particles scatter most of the weaker, short wavelengths of light (blues and violet) allowing only the more penetrative, longer wavelengths (yellows, oranges and reds) to reach the observer’s eye.
