Braulio Carrillo National Park - There are some spectacular views from the highway that winds its way through the 47,000 hectares of rainforest-cloaked mountains and valleys of Braulio Carrillo National Park. This sprawling wilderness receives an average of four meters of rainfall per year, which helps maintain its forested slopes exuberant and teeming with plant and animal life.
