Arenal Volcano (V0332) - On a clear afternoon, the final few minutes of sunlight before dusk totally transform Arenal Volcano; the usual, gray tone warms to orange-brown and then red as the sun approaches the horizon. Arenal stands 1633 meters high and is one of the world’s most active volcanoes. It has been active since 1968, with daily, sometimes hourly eruptions.
