It is an area where divers often find themselves surrounded by large schools of colorful fish. When you dive the
Catalinas, you may experience swimming with abundance of manta rays and stingrays. The formations provide a spectacular variety of marine life from nudibranchs to sharks, with angel fish, jacks, snappers, grunts, octopus and eels in between. There are several dive spots with depths ranging from 40 ft. to more than 100 ft. Visibility depends upon the levels of plankton and nutrients. It varies from 20 ft. to 100 ft., with an average of 45 ft. approximately. |  |

DIVE SET UP Daily scheduled are morning and afternoon 2-tank boat dives. For the morning trip, the boat leaves the Flamingo Beach Resort at 7:45 am, and for the afternoon trip, at 1:45 pm. After a 20 minute ride you have the opportunity to explore the first underwater site of the day. Afterwards, a surface interval followed by a second great dive, and then back to the hotel. Night dives are also available. As evening falls, the ride to the dive site lets you relax and witness the breathtaking Pacific sunset. Then, get a different perspective of the underwater marine life. These dives are excellent for photography or just enjoyable diving. |
| The dock in front of our center provides an easy access to both of our boats, Aquapro (28') and Fun Fisher II (37'). Fully equipped with fresh water, radio, sonar, GPS, oxygen, and emergency equipment, the boats are operated by certified experienced friendly professionals. Our retail facility has plenty of equipment for rent and dive gear and accessories for sale. A rinsing area with showers and lockers are also available. |

KAYAKS are available to explore the coast, which is a nursery for underwater life. With our sit-on-top kayaks, you can easily access the beaches and snorkeling sites nearby. Kayak rentals include lifejacket and water bottle. BICYCLES are 21 speed and may be used both on and off road. Ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Flamingo area. All rentals include helmet and water bottle. Orientations to both trails and general routes are available. |
| SNORKELING Discover the beauty of our beaches, rock formations and interesting sites. It is easy, just put on your snorkeling gear, relax and experience another world. A great opportunity to learn, combine the fun with fish identification, and even some creature interaction. Snorkeling is available from shore or boat. AQUAHEROES Activities for the kids are designed to be hands-on and fun. Our Aquaheroes program includes supervised pool activities, snorkeling, arts and crafts, sand sculpting, beach games and videos. Kids have the opportunity to experience SASY - Supplied Air Snorkeling for Youth, or take a Junior Open Water scuba certification course. |
