Day Tours are local to a general area since traveling very far for the tour would significantly shorten the tour itself. Here we have arranged the various day tours by the region that they operate in. You can either look at tours available in the areas you plan to visit or if you find a particular tour you like you may want to add the area it operates in to your itinerary.

Most tours pick-up at the major hotels in the their area. Check with one of our travel advisers to see if a given tour will pick-up at your preferred hotel. If they do not we can arrange transport to the tour or one of their pick-up locations.

San Jose has the most day tours and some that only operate from the capital. One of the most popular is white-water rafting on the Pacure River.
