Optional Tours

 

Both Arenal and Manuel Antonio off a diverse range of day tours from the adventurous; zip line, white-water rafting, waterfall repelling, to the more relaxed; hanging bridges, bird watching, etc. Rather than try to add particular tours to this package we decided it would better serve our clients to let them select according to their interests. These can be booked at an additional charge when you book your tour or you can wait and book when you reach your hotel. Some of the more popular tours are best booked in advance as they do fill up, particularly in high season.

Itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVE - Upon your arrival at the San José International Airport, you will be met and transferred by private van to Finca Rosa Blanca. Located only 20 minutes from the airport on a hill overlooking San José. This is a beautiful and relaxing hotel for the first night of your luxury tour package. Overnight at Finca Rosa Blanca (Jr. Suite, Includes a full "a la carte" breakfast)

Day 2: ARENAL VOLCANO - After a leisurely breakfast your private van will transport you to The Springs Resort & Spa at Arenal. This is the finest hotel in the Arenal area. The volcano can erupt at any time but may be obscured by clouds. At The Springs the volcano can be viewed from your room, the restaurants and the natural mineral hot springs, pools and waterfalls, so you don't miss anything. Nighttime eruptions are the most spectacular and can be viewed from the bed in every room. Overnight at The Springs (Alta Vista Room)

Day 3: ARENAL VOLCANO - While many guest will choose to enjoy the pools and scenery of the hotels grounds, there is a wide selection of day tours available depending on your tastes. For the adventurous the Waterfall Repelling Tour is very popular. For the nature lover a volcano tour or the hanging bridges tour are popular. (Not included) Overnight at The Springs (Alta Vista Room)

Day 4: MANUEL ANTONIO - Today you take a scenic trip to the Pacific coast and the small, luxurious resort of Arenas del Mar. Located right on a beautiful beach very near the famous Manuel Antonio National Park this hotel is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Overnight at Arenas del Mar (Ocean Breeze Surperior Room, Includes a full "a la carte" breakfast)

Day 5: MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK - Today you have an experienced nature guide take you on an informative hike through Manuel Antonio National Park. The guides know where you are most likely to encounter sloths, monkeys etc. they will also provide a great deal of information on the history, flora and fauna during this easy 2 hour walk. Mid tour snacks and refreshments are offered and guests may remain in the park after the tour. Overnight at Arenas del Mar (Ocean Breeze Surperior Room, Includes a full "a la carte" breakfast)

Day 6: MANUEL ANTONIO - A free day to just kick back on the beach or take one of the many day tours availabe (not included) Overnight at Arenas del Mar (Ocean Breeze Surperior Room, Includes a full "a la carte" breakfast)

Day 7: San José - Return to San José and the Finca Rosa Blanca. You will get back to this beautiful hotel in time to enjoy the grounds. Overnight at Finca Rosa Blanca (Jr. Suite, Includes a full "a la carte" breakfast)

Day 8: DEPARTURE - Today you will be transferred to the International Airport to check in 3 hours before your scheduled flight home. Enjoy a full "a la carte" breakfast if your flight time permits. If you have an afternoon flight enjoy the morning at this wonderful hotel.
