Tours
Most visitors to Waterfall Gardens are on limitied tours. For you this isn't really a tour because you are staying inside the gardens and can explore the many features and exhibits at your leisure. Relax and enjoy this unique and beautiful place.
Two Lapa Rios operated tours in this beautiful private nature reserve are included.
Manuel Antonio Narional Park has it all: stunning beaches, a magnificent setting with islands offshore, lush rainforest laced with a network of welcoming trails, wildlife galore. You are virtually guaranteed close-up encounters with monkeys, sloths, coatimundis, and scarlet macaws. What a gem!

Itinerary
Note: Add or delete a day, substitute a different day tour or drop the day tours and just kick back. A senior travel adviser wil be happy to work with you to modify this package to fit you needs.
Day 1: ARRIVE - Upon your arrival at the San José International Airport, you will be met and transferred to the Peace Lodge. Located about 45 minutes away in the reknown Waterfall Gardens, Peace Lodge is one of the most amazing hotels in Costa Rica and a great place to begin your luxury vacation.

Day 2: Waterfall Gardens - Enjoy a day relaxing and exploring Waterfall Gardens with it's lush tropical rain forest, spectacular waterfalls, birds, butterflies, monkeys, sloths, snakes, frogs and jaguars.

Day 3: Lapa Rios - This morning you will be transferred to the Pavas airport for your flight to Puerto Jimenez and from there to the incredible Lapa Rios Ecolodge. When people talk of luxury in the rain forest, this is what they had in mind. The main lodge and bungalows line three ridges and are connected by walking paths and steps. Built over 350 feet above the sea, Lapa Rios catches the cooling tropical ocean and forest breezes.

Day 4 & 5: Lapa Rios - Three extraordinary meals per day and a selection of tours are included. Daily guest experiences include a variety of staff naturalist led rainforest interpretive hikes, birdwatching walks and sustainable/educational local project visits.

Day 6: Pacific Coast - Today you fly to Manuel Antonio and your stay at the Arenas del Mar hotel. Located on a beautiful beach, near to the Manuel Antonio National Park, this is a perfect place to relax for a couple of days before returning home.

Day 7: Pacific Coast - This morning take a leisurely hike with a highly trained, well-educated Costa Rican naturalist guide through the exotic, bio-diverse tropical rain forest in Manuel Antonio National Park. This is a private guided tour so you will be able to take full advantage of your guides knowledge.

Day 8: Pacific Coast - Today you have your choice of white water rafting or a tour of the Carara National Park. If you would prefer a different day tour in the area just let your travel adviser know.

Day 9: DEPARTURE - Today you will be transferred to the International Airport to check in 3 hours before your scheduled flight home. If necessary to catch a morning flight, we can add a night in San José. A travel adviser will be happy to discus your flight options and if you need an airport area room.
