- Credit Card Insurance.
Auto Rental CDW Programs offered by major card issuers are accepted by Mapache Rent a Car.
The amount of insurance coverage has to be mentioned.

- Declining the Insurance by using your credit card:

In order to reduce costs the Credit Card issuers have created programs to cover potential damage to the rented vehicle. The ability to decline the insurance applies when the client decides to use there own insurance (a collision, damage and waiver (CDW) insurance provided by VISA, MASTER CARD or AMEX) and refuse to purchase the insurance provided by the Rent a Car company.
Every customer who is interested in declining the insurance must meet the following requirements:
- Submit a letter issued by the bank that issued your card, which indicates that the card has the insurance coverage you want to decline (CDW)
- The amount of the required deposit in this case will be the double the standard deductible amount, depending on the type of vehicle chose. (for example, a Toyota Yaris normally has a deductible of  $750, if it the CDW is declined the deductible will be $1500)
