During your breathtaking flight to Drake Bay, situated on the Pacific coast adjacent to the dense and impenetrable Corcovado National Park, you’ll fly over the dramatic peaks of the Irazú and Turrialba volcanoes followed by an endless expanse of virgin jungle protected within the boundaries of Braulio Carrillo National Park. You will be among the first to witness the grace and splendor of a huge waterfall, plunging deep into the unexplored gorges of the Talamanca mountains, and you will see the mist shrouded cloud forests of Tapantí National Wildlife Refuge. At Drake Bay a boat will be waiting to take you to Caño Island („Isla del Caño"), once the haunt of bands of marauding pirates who, according to popular legend, buried their treasures there for safekeeping. On the island you will enjoy snorkeling and an archeological hike, followed by a light lunch.
